Mastering the Unique Properties of Herbs - Notes from seminar

We are responsible for our bad physical condition and are responsible for getting back to health. Eat until you are only 80% full.  A secret of people who live longer. Don’t stuff yourself.  Overeating causes inflammation of the body.  Second secret of long living people is drinking a daily dose of an antioxidant drink (Thai-go)

When you start on an herbal program you will feel worse for a while because the toxins have to work themselves out of the body.  When you have reached a better physical state you still have to invest in “health” insurance ie supplements and good food.

We are going to sample some supplements and first using Silver Shield (cream) for a a hand sanitizer.

Why use herbs? They have a long history of safety and efficacy.  Like food they are whole substances.  Traditional herbal medicine is holistic. Herbs are cost effective and convenient.

ALJ or Fenugreek and Thyme are good formulas for kids and sinus.  They drain the sinus and build the immune system

How did people learn to use herbs?  Observation of nature, where a plant grows, what kinds of obstacles a plant has to overcome in its environment. Taste smell texture color and appearance give clues to basic chemistry.
