The 7-step Candida Solution  (These notes are raw from the presentation. I will edit and expand as time allows).

75-90%  of all people have candida.

Candida overgrowth is the state of having more harmful bacteria and yeast than beneficial bacteria.   It is the most common yeast so everyone has them. It is a natural part of the digestive system.  Under normal circumstances it lives in harmony with us.  It is considered to be a parasite>  Eats nutrients in the digestive system and produces over 70 known toxins as a by-product. The pH of a healthy gut is not optimal for candida to thrive as they must compete for nutrients with good bacteria that far outnumber them. Ratio {ideal} is 1 yeast cell to 1 million probiotic cells.

Candida is an opportunistic organism.  So we need to supplement with probiotics.  Meat and dairy needs to be antibiotic free.  Candida overgrowth damages the digestive tract and causes auto-intoxication, the process where the body pollutes itself. Overgrowth creates acid which puncture the mucus lining of the digestive tract - Leaky gut syndrome.

How does Candida make us sick??  Releases powerful poisons, produces an alcohol called ethanol. Nutrasweet grows yeast better than sugar which contributes to Candida. Xyletol doesn’t encourage yeast growth at all.  All the stuff that gets into the blood system causes illness, allergies and more. Can create a false estrogen, upping xeno-estrogen which can contribute to cancer. Produces Acetaldehyde the chemical known to make us feel “hung-over” when the body detoxifies.

Need to work on balacing pH.  Turning off the TV can help your pH by getting less negative input.  Think on good things to balance pH!!
